舉辦Barista競賽的目的如下：

•Educate public about specialty coffee

•Exchange of ideas among baristas

What makes a great Barista?

•Professionalism

•Attention to detail

•Technical skill & ability

•Passion for coffee and/or craft

•Consistency

•Understanding of tools & equipment

•Ability to recognize and correct mistakes

•Quality of coffee used

•Ability to “represent” coffee, craft

 

What are we looking for in a Champion?

•Dedication, passion, and technical proficiency

•Ability to represent Taiwan at WBC

•Person who can serve as a “role model” for other baristas

•Person who is an “ambassador” of coffee

•Person who is dedicated and committed to the craft
